This sightseeing flight departs from our hangar in Tinwald and takes you over the man made Lake Hood, the intensive arable farming of the Wakanui area and on to a vegetable processing plant and meat works at Fairton returning over Ashburton to view the golf courses, parks and development of the town.

Southern Alps Scenic

Again from our hangar in Tinwald, this flight takes in the Canterbury Plains to the Foothills then deeper into the Southern Alps with spectacular views of glacier fed rivers and snowcapped mountains, historic sheep stations and the popular Lord of the Rings film location, Mt. Sunday (Edoras). Hear the history af the area from your pilot while you enjoy the majestic panorama including highcountry lakes and tarns. A MUST DO scenic flight to remember.
